LIFE GROUPS
Our model is the picture of the early church in:
Acts 2:41-47 (NIV)
"Those who accepted his message were baptized, and about three thousand were added to their number that day.
The Fellowship of the Believers.
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.
All the believers were together and had everything in common.
They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need.
Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts.
They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying
the favour of all the people.
And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.
We want to model this community of believers who were devoted to God and one another,
and filled with the Spirit’s power.
They met together from house to house each week… eating, fellow-shipping, praying and praising God.
And v 47 tells us ‘the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved’.
At Durban North Community Church we too meet in homes and other venues weekly to build authentic relationships. We believe significant and sustained life change happens in authentic community
and so encourage everyone at Durban North Community Church to join a life group.
We would like all who are part of Durban North Community Church to be part of a smaller group
where they can know others, and where they in turn can be known.
Please fill in the form below or contact the church office if you would like to join a life group.
